All Time Favourites x

We all have those songs..
Our list of all time favourites..
That you love.. that mean a lot..
That you can't get out of your head.

Well here's one of mine..
Played rather awfully.. and accompanied by what I can only describe as.. not singing.
I get really frustrated when I forget the words that I've known off by heart for so long..
But oh well.. I tried.. and that's the important thing! x

This is to all time favourites...

Busy Busy Busy x

It's been a busy week!

See, this week was Holiday Club.. a week which everyone has been working long and hard towards since the last one ended a year ago x
So much preparation goes into it.. months worth of hard work goes into making this single week go smoothly.. 75 leaders.. 95 kids.. and A LOT of work! x
But it's so worth it..x
Seeing the looks on the children's faces, the excitement, the pure joy, helping them create something they can feel proud to take home to their parents.. It's wonderful x
The music, songs, drama, the morning work out, the snacks, the crafts.. :) x

I lead the cooking group.. crazy cooking.. with my happy helpers Chris & Rachel.. x
24 kids, 72 cakes, 72 biscuits, 24 pizzas, 24 loaves of bread, and A LOT of mess!
.. Brilliant :) x

Green t-shirts away..
Until next year.. :) ..

Last Year..x

Looking back over this past year, at my diary, at the photos and the blog posts,
it made me realise something..

Life was so much easier last year.

Yes, there were A levels and stuff, but nothing compared to now.
I look back, and remember all the laughs we had, the great days out and nights in, with friends who cared so much. The holidays we took, with sun and smiles, the music and movies. How carefree we were.
No assignments, long journeys or moving, less exams and presentations, less drama, less stress.

Life has changed so much.

But the best things in life don't come easy.. with the tough times, comes so much happiness.. New friends, days out, endless parties, private jokes, evenings in, so many laughs, independence, and experiences I never dreamed I'd have.

Life is different now, in fact, it's constantly changing.

So, make the most of now x

True Friends - My Big Surprise x

True friends are the people you can always go to. They can make your worst days the best and they know you better then anyone. You jam in the car and sing karaoke for hours & you almost die but laugh anyway.
You accept and love each other for who they are. x

So this weekend, I had the biggest surprise of my life.

I was sitting in my room with Liv, as usual, when someone knocked on the door & I shouted "Yepp" as I normally do. Then, the door opened, and there in the doorway was Emma.... OOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!! XD XD XD

I sat there blankly for a second, before a look of shock and surprise descended on my face. (Apparently this look was highly amusing to Liv, Jo & Emma lol). Then, like the cry baby I am, I lifted my hands to cover my face, and the tears started (LOL) x

I have never been so surprised in my life.. I was actually in shock, to seeEmma standing there, after being upset i wouldn't see her before she left to go to Australia for 2.5 months. And there she was.. EEEEEEEEK!! :D x

Turns out, Liv & Jo, the amazing flatmates that they are, had seen how homesick I was, missing my friends back home, and had come up with a cunning plan to get Emma up here for a surprise visit, and had been for weeks! x
Via Facebook messages & texts, they had arranged everything, all without me having a single clue! Apparently everyone knew but me!

We then enjoyed the days :) Laughs, Talks, Food, Strippers, Music & YouTube;) x
I was so happy; I still am! To see Emma, to have her visit before she left. It meant the world to me.. and I just want to thank them all, for an amazing weekend I won't forget :) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Love (a very happy) Amy :D xxxxxx

Speak with your mind. Sing with your heart x

Music inspires people.
Whether it be to do amazing things, or just to get through the day.
Have you ever noticed how powerful music is.
How people can be moved by a simple melody or a complex rhythm.
Each song has a story and each story is filled with emotion, whatever that may be.
Music fills the silence. The silence in the air, the silence in our lives, the silence in our hearts.
The music, the lyrics, even the pauses, every part. Magic.

When one chord can send shivers down your spine, and for a moment, just a moment, the whole world disappears. And all that's left is you, and the music.

Every song has a CODA, a final movement. Whether it fades out or crashes away. Every song ends. Is that any reason not to enjoy the music? The truth is, there is nothing to be afraid of. It's just life.

Life is a song, it's up to your heart to write the lyrics x

Speak with your mind. Sing with your heart.

I Hope... x

Wow, it's been a very long time since my last blog! And so much has happened!! x

I'm now at uni, Harper Adams University College, Shropshire :) And it's amazing here x

I've made new friends, Liv especially :) .. and kept old ones strong xxxx

It's funny how much your life can change in just a few months..x

So why did I decide to start writing again? .. well I watched a video, and heard a song, which filled me with so much hope, that I just had to write about it x

Watch it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyVUJsJgkJs

So I decided to write my own hope notes, and get my friends and family to as well... because everyone needs hope in their life. It's inspiring x

And So...
I hope that one day I'll see the world, and the world will see me.
I hope there will always be music in my life.
I hope one day I'll stop worrying, and just live my life.
I hope for true happiness
I hope my friends know how much they mean to me.
I hope that in the future I remember all the times I have been happy... and the people who made me feel that way.
I hope for friends like this forever.
I hope that me and you stay friends till we are old and grey, As I have never connected with someone so quickly and known someone so genuinely nice!! x
I hope I won't get saggy with age!
I hope everyone is happy. Happiness makes the world go around xx
I hope never to put back on all the weight i have lost!
I hope for happiness
I hope Amy will always have good friends around her.
I hope my Mum knows, that no matter how far away, I'm watching over her, and I love her xxx
I hope to have a family x
I hope you're safe x
I hope to dance with my dad at my wedding xx
I hope... to live a long and happy life with my family, to keep the friends I have, and to continue to make new ones in the future.
I hope i never forget... x
I hope to travel.
I hope i have a happy life, and you guys are in it with me till the very end when we're all wrinkly and grey! :D xxx
I hope.. that when I'm old and grey, you'll be there to hold my hand when i listen to that song that makes us cry x I love you x
I hope God, + his angels watches you always. And just in case he's busy, I'm there instead. x
I hope to inspire someone, and to be inspired x
I hope to dance with my dad at my Wedding x

We all can use a little hope sometimes, you know. That feeling that everything is gonna be okay and that there’s gonna be someone there to help make sure of that. - Haley James Scott.

Sometimes all we need is something to hope for, and the rest just falls into place xxxx

Until next time x
