What is it about tv programs that captures your imagination?

The story lines that draw you in and make it almost impossible to turn off.
Every week, you tune in to those programs you just can't miss..
Some, you revolve your life around, arranging things to fit around it.
They evoke emotions, make us empathise, fascinate us and hook us in.

The story lines that make us sit on the edge of our seat, cry our eyes out or laugh our heads off.. Make us believe in true love, and magic, or make our hearts skip a beat..

All it really is is a scripted sketch, with the sole purpose of entertaining you, but for some reason, they become so much more to some people, a part of us..
Find out what a person watches, and you unearth a part of who they are.. what they like, dislike, how they think, what entertains them.. If they're a laugher, a crier, how they see the world, and so much more.

It's only a tv show.. Half an hour maybe..
But to some people, that's the moment they look forward to the most. The moment they can forget all the troubles, stress and angst going on in their life, and just, for 42 minutes a week, let it all go.. And be part of someone else's world.. Where, when things get hard, you can simply change the channel..

Television may just be another form of media.. but for some, it's so much more.. x

Every decision we make defines the rest of our life..

Each choice affects you, and what happens to you next..

Think of a decision you had to make..

Was it the right decision, or the wrong one?

Just think.. what would have happened if you'd chosen differently.

If you'd chosen a different University, or submitted your housing application late.. If you'd crossed the road or forgot to hold a door open.. If you skipped a lecture or smiled at someone..

Who would you never have met?.. How would your life be?.. Who would you be?

Your life is the sum result of all the choices you make, both consciously and unconsciously.

It's a strange thought, but every decision counts..

So think carefully.. and don't make the wrong one x

How long would it take?

If you went missing right now.. if you collapsed in your room, or even worse.. how long would it take before someone noticed?

If the door was locked and the curtains closed.. at what point would someone be worried enough to call the police? Break down the door? How long would it take? .. Too long?

If someone knocked on your door, and you didn't answer, would they just assume you weren't in, that you were sleeping or just didn't want to talk. No one would know, no one would help.

They might text or try to ring, but people screen calls all the time. You can go days without seeing people, talking to people, it's not unheard of.

You would just lie there, or disappear, and no one would have any idea.

I wonder just how long it would take before people got worried, when they don't just say it's strange, when would they take action? Hours? Days? Weeks even?

What would people miss about you? What would tip people off? Where should you be? When? Who would you see? Who would see you? Would they find it strange if you weren't there?

Why would anyone comment on a student skipping lectures? It happens all the time.. skip a few parties.. pop home for the weekend.. shut in their room doing assignments.

The truth is, no matter how much everyone may say they would notice straight away.. that's a lie, because most wouldn't.

Just think, how long has it been since you last saw some of your friends, do you panic when you don't see them for a day or 2?

It's a scary thought, but the truth is, we all live in our own little worlds.. and it's easy to forget about those around you.

So go out, and make an impact on those around you, be unforgettable, be incredible, become a part of someone's life, so they can't imagine life without you there beside them.

..And next time they don't answer the phone, or reply when you knock.. think for a second..

Who gives a damn what other people think?! Do what makes YOU happy. Because it's YOUR life.

Last ever food lesson with Mrs Ware..
Last ever car journey with Sara..
Last ever lunch duty in A block *cough* ;)..
Last ever 3:25 end of day....

I could think of more.. but it's a tad sad..x

In all honesty.. I think I'm going to miss a lot.. the people, the laughs, even the teachers x
There are gonna be lots of tears on Friday.. happy & sad x
